Grace had her time alone with Mommy & Daddy at the beginning of August. First on the agenda was a trip to the American Girl store. She had so patiently waited for 2 weeks for her chance to go. She watched Avery play and play with her girl and just wanted one for herself. Her name is Madeline. Isn't she beautiful!

We also took a trip to the Dallas World Aquarium. It was a really neat place. Not just fish...there were lots of birds, frogs, snakes (Yuck!), turtles, and bats (Eww!). It really kept her attention because you just kept moving from exhibit to exhibit.
On Tuesday evening, Grace had a date with Daddy. They went to Chuck E Cheese and then Braum's for dessert. Grace loved her time with Dad.
Here is a lovely pic. We were at Northpark shopping. Well, at the food court there was a Sonic. But Mom & Dad didn't want that. So we took the corndog with us to Kona Grill. Grace really wanted to eat with the chopsticks. So, here is some nice documentation of the event!
We then went to our hotel in downtown Dallas. The bathtub was HUGE! Can you tell?
We didn't swim, but we had to check out the pool. It's on about the 10th floor and the edge of the pool kind of hangs off the building. It's really cool and looked awesome at night.
All in all, it was a fun week with our Grace. She missed her sister badly! Everyday she would ask when we were going to get Avery. And if I asked her if she was having fun with Mom & Dad, she would say yes...But that Avery was more fun!
