Avery's Week Alone with Mom & Dad

While Grace was in EC living it up, Avery was having a blast being an only child for a week. The first night Mommy and Avery took a bike ride around the neighborhood. She was so excited, her face was just glowing!

Our first big excursion was to go to the American Girl Doll store in Dallas and get her big girl American doll. She also got to get a new outfit for her Bitty Baby doll.

We spent some time at the neighbor's pool! Super fun and relaxing!
One morning, Daddy took Avery to work. She thinks Daddy hung the moon. And going to work with him was the grand prize.
We then went to Dallas to spend the night in a hotel. We had planned on taking her to the Dallas Aquarium, but Avery informed us that she didn't want to do that. The only thing she wanted to was go shopping!! Oh no, we may have a problem on our hands in the years to come!
Avery thought it was hilarious to pose in the window while Daddy was doing a little bit of shopping.

And then we finally decided to take a dip in the pool.

The next day before we headed home...we had a little lunch at Capisi's (maybe another name, I'm not sure), a pizza place down in Dallas. Look, even Matalie got to eat lunch with us.

Once we got back home, we made cupcakes for Grace, Nee, and Popo before they arrived. Here is the bakery help, Avery, icing the cupcakes.
It was a super fun week had by all. We definitely enjoyed time with Avery one on one. Now its time for the switch. Avery is in EC with Nee & Popo as we speak. And Grace is alone with us at home.
